My technical skills listed below are based on a standard unit of measurement:

the Professional baseball farm system. (click for detail)

If you’re not familiar with the professional Baseball farm system, my ratings go as follows:

Rookie Ball = Beginner
Single A = Adequate
Double A = Proficient
Triple A = Skilled
Majors = Experienced
Hall of Fame = Expert

WordPress | Majors

When it comes to my WordPress ability, I feel confident to say I’d make the 40-man roster. I might not be starting on the Big League club—after all, I’m only 23—but I’d like to think I’d have a locker.

HTML | Single A

Firmly on a Single A roster here. I’m happy to say I know my way around basic HTML but I’m far from fluent. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have to use Google for advanced HTML coding tricks.

CSS | Single A

I’m not going to impress the scouts with my CSS ability. I can troubleshoot, make changes, and do a little custom work but anything past that, I’m collaborating with Google once again.

Adobe Photoshop | Triple A

Like most Triple A ballplayers, I can show some flashes of brilliance in Photoshop but not with enough consistency to get a call to the Big Leagues. I love Photoshop and I’m always looking for new tricks and techniques but there’s still plenty for me to learn.

Adobe Illustrator | Double A

I’m still pretty new to Illustrator. The raw skills are there but I’m definitely still developing. I started in Photoshop so I understand the program but can’t quite put it all together. A little more coaching would do me a lot of good but until then, it’s more long bus rides from Pensacola to Altoona.

Adobe InDesign | Double A

Similar to my Illustrator skills, I’m still relatively new to InDesign. I learn something new with each InDesign project and my recent performances have received solid attention from the coaches. Experience will lend itself well to moving up in my InDesign career.

Adobe Premiere | Rookie Ball

I’ve only dipped my toe into Adobe Premiere, with one project you can see here. Without many games under my belt, I won’t tout this as a strength but an understanding of the software and its capabilities.

Some of these brands I helped create, others I just touched in some capacity. Either way, I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with each of them.
